Focus on sets or themes you enjoy. Buy a few packs and don’t spend all of your money at once.
Condition is the main focal point. Sharp corners, centered borders, no scratches, and a very clean edge. They are graded 1-10, with 10 being the highest value.
Some cards are valued for how they are in competitive play, art, rarity, or nostalgia.
You can find it through websites such as eBay or TCG marketplaces.
The higher the condition of your card, the more it can be worth 5x or 10x its value.
Personally, I keep my cards because it has sentimental value.
